Canberra Wait On Report Of Silburn's Injuries

Canberra Race Club are waiting on a report back from Canberra Hospital on the condition of jockey Ray Silburn who suffered a nasty fall this afternoon when his mount, the Tom Wilson trained Caza Ladron, appeared to suffer a massive bleeding attack, collapsing and dying on track.

Silburn was conscious but complaining of little feeling in his limbs and was immediately taken to the local hospital.

"We have yet to receive a report from the hospital but are expecting one later on this afternoon," said the Club's spokesperson.
