Thorn Park and Mr Bureaucrat to Gallop on Wednesday

Brilliant juvenile Thorn Park and proven distance performer Mr. Bureaucrat will step out in exhibition gallops in Sydney on Wednesday.

Trained by Bob Thomsen and Warwick Hailes respectively, the two will gallop following the running of race two at Canterbury.

The Sydney Turf Club agreed to the requests of both trainers who sought permission to use the course proper on Wednesday.

Thorn Park, a son of the exciting young stallion Spinning World, has scored two sizzling wins from as many starts and he is being set for a possible spring tilt in Melbourne.

Mr. Bureaucrat, a multiple Group winner last season in Queensland, is returning to the track and he is among 172 entries for October's Group One Cox Plate at Moonee Valley. Thorn Park is also entered for the Cox Plate.

Adrian Robinson will ride Mr. Bureaucrat in the gallop, while Darren Beadman will again be in the saddle of Thorn Park.
