RACE ONE: MAIDEN PLATE 1400 METRES.

CARRY THE WEST was a late withdrawal at 1.17pm on veterinary advice. LET’S GO NORTH shifted in shortly after the start bumping ADMIRAL TYSON. KOOKAMAMOO was steadied away from the heels of LET’S GO NORTH near the 1200m when over racing. A post race veterinary examination of BEST O’ LUCK revealed the horse was lame in the off fore leg. Trainer Mr K Wright was advised that a veterinary certificate of suitability for racing would be required prior to the horse being permitted to start in a race again.

RACE TWO: MAIDEN HANDICAP 900 METRES.

PHYSICAL DANCER was slowly away. WATER SPORTS shifted out shortly after the start. DANCE ON HIGH hung in when under pressure in the straight and was eased away from the heels of WATER SPORTS.

RACE THREE: CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1600 METRES.

GALLISSA blundered on jumping. I’M ZIPPY and SHERTON ROAD hung out rounding the 1400m turn. YOUIE STAR hung in when under pressure in the straight.

RACE FOUR: OPEN HANDICAP 1400 METRES.

I LIKE RED was slowly away. SPY MAN blundered on jumping. A post race veterinary examination of DOUBLE RUN revealed no obvious abnormality.

RACE FIVE: CLASS 2 HANDICAP 900 METRES.

JIM’S ANCHOR was slowly away. Shortly after the start ZARHEBRA BAY and NICK IN TIME were severely hampered by OCHRE BOY which shifted in abruptly. Near the 700m OCHRE BOY was clipped the heels of MARIKO MAGIC and blundered when over racing. MARIKO MAGIC hung out across the heels of DALLAGLIO near the 600m and was checked.
