COROONLIER (D Stanley) jumped outwards and then was slow into stride.   TARCOOLA MAGIC (M Abe) jumped awkwardly as start effected.

GREYISH (M Abe) jumped out at start onto CREDITWISE (B Cornell).  Between the 600M and the 400M mark CLASSIC KHAN (G Lefoe) had difficulty obtaining a run on the inside of KABATEPE (B Huppatz) who was inclined to shift around.

BELLE ROKAIYA (D Stanley) jumped awkwardly as start effected.   MIGHTY MOX (M Abe) raced greenly in the straight shifting some ground.  BELLE ROKAIYA (D Stanley) struck the running rail at about the 200 metre mark.  No other runner involved.

Prior to the race the trainer of QUEEN’S IMAGE, Mr N MOODY informed Stewards that he would instruct the rider T NORTON to endeavour to ride the mare closer to the pace.  This information was conveyed to the public.  As started effected LION PRIDE (B Cornell) jumped outwards bumping JUROMA (B Huppatz) who in turn was forced onto THE BIG FELLA (D Stanley).  ULRICHO (M Cornell) jumped inwards also hampering THE BIG FELLA (D Stanley), resulting in THE BIG FELLA losing considerable ground.  GAMERA (M Abe) jumped inwards bumping LE SAINT (G Lefoe).  G LEFOE, rider of LE SAINT reported to Stewards that after being hampered at the start his mount had failed to stretch out throughout the race.  Approaching the 200 metre mark THE BIG FELLA (D Stanley) had to be eased across the heels of LE SAINT when that horse shifted in slightly.  On return to the enclosure it was observed that ULRICHO had cast an off hind plate in the run.

FINES:
Apprentice M ABE was fined the sum of $50 under NT91c – Fail to claim his allowable allowance on GREYISH.
