The first two year old race of the season replacing the tradition Fulham Park Plate and Dequettville Stakes which have been moved to later in the season. She's A Card showed speed from the outset with Son of Spartacus and Oakwood settling just off the speed. Sadly soon after settling Brocco filly Sun Stream clipped heels and fell heavily breaking her off foreleg. She's A Card kicked clear inside the final 200m but Son of Spartacus issued a strong challenge as the filly appeared to become unbalanced as the colt brushed past. Son of Spartacus though won with something in hand from She's A Card with Oakwood making ground for third place.
