A classy group of sprinters gathered for the Honda Stakes considered the main lead up to the Goodwood Hcp in two weeks.  Super Elegant didn't enjoy the best of runs being out wide but was still too strong at the finish to win from Deprave with Agalia third.

Race 8

As the shadows drew across the track the final race produced an upset as Smytzer's Mustang proved too good racing clear in the final stages to win easily.  Smyzter's Mustang went through the sales ring twice as a young horse.  The first time as a foal at foot with his dam Tashka and then just over 12 months later at the Adelaide Yearling Sales.

Recent South Australian success through yearlings sold through the Magic Millions Adelaide yearling sale not only include Saturday's many runners featured above but the Lee Freedman trained True Glo sold in 2001 won the Group 2 Queensland Guineas.
