Lincoln Away and Racing on Sunday

One of South Australia's most popular and picturesque tracks will kick back into gear for the new season when they hold their first meeting for five months over the weekend.

Port Lincoln, the tuna capital of South Australia and the home of Tony Santic (Mr Smytzer), have a seven event card programmed for Sunday.

The club's season will build up to the annual two day cup carnival in March, when the rich Port Lincoln Cup will be run at Ravendale Racecourse.

Local club secretary Ian McCleery and his committee have been working hard in the "off season" to hold another highly successful season.
