Ain'tnofallenstar Storms Home In Nitschke

Ain'tnofallenstarAin'tnofallenstar will return to Melbourne for the Kewney Stakes after she scored a valuable first time stakes success in yesterday's listed HC Nitschke Stakes at Morphettville.

Trained by Hall of Fame horseman Lee Freedman, Ain'tnofallenstar came with a late rush to reel in Always Discreet after that three-year-old made a bold bid for an all the way success.

At the post Ain'tnofallenstar ($4.40) held a widening length and a quarter margin over Always Discreet ($9), while Addiction to Rock ($20) was another two and a half lengths back in third place.

"It was a good win and after a sluggish start she came home strongly," Freedman said. "It turned out good in the end and that is the main thing."

"We'll bring her back to Melbourne now for the Kewney Stakes and on that performance she should run a good race."

Ain'tnofallenstarFreedman virtually ruled out a return to Adelaide to contest the Group One Australasian Oaks.

"I think she is a get back sprinter type," Freedman summed up.

The filly, by leading young Arrowfield Stud based sire Starcraft, was purchased for $270,000 from the draft of Arrowfield Stud at the 2009 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

She is one of two winners, from two to race, for the former quality Nothin' Leica Dane mare Ain't Seen Nothin'.

A winner of eight races, Ain't Seen Nothin' won stakes races at Flemington, Canberra and Kembla Grange and earned over $614,000 prior to being retired to stud.

As well as her three stakes wins, Ain't Seen Nothin' was third in an Underwood Stakes and fourth in an AJC Oaks and Mackinnon Stakes.

Ain'tnofallenstarAs well as Ain'tnofallenstar, Ain't Seen Nothin' is the dam of the three time winner Hidden Charges.

Last year Laurence Eales purchased Ain'tnofallenstar's full brother for $200,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Starcraft, a former globetrotting superstar galloper, is making an impact at stud with five stakes winners already headed by Group One stars Star Witness and We Can Say it Now. His daughter Hallowell Belle ran second in yesterday's Group One Blue Diamond Stakes.

A half sister to the stakes performer Flawless Gem by Starcraft is catalogued as lot 74 at the upcoming Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale. She is a member of a quality draft from Kambula Stud.
