More Awesome To Carry More Weight

Thoroughbred Racing SA advise the weight to be carried by More Awesome (#2) in the $115,000 Group 3 The Jansz (1200m) at Allan Scott Park Morphettville on Saturday, 26 March 2011 will be 58.0 kg.
The official weight sheet issued by the TRSA Handicapper at 11.00 am on Tuesday, 22 March 2011, declared the allotted weight incorrectly at 56.5 kg.
Following a review of penalties allotted to horses entered for The Jansz, a set weights and penalties race, programmed for Allan Scott Park Morphettville this Saturday, TRSA advises the penalty of 1.5 kg alloted to More Awesome as a consequence of running in the Sportingbet Magic Millions Adelaide 2YO Classic at Allan Scott Park Morphettville on Monday, 14 March 2011 was not consistent with the conditions of the race.
TRSA Stewards ascertained that the penalty of 1.5 kg allotted to More Awesome was consistent with a condition which stated, “the winner of any race of an advertised value of $50,000 or over but less than $100,000 to carry 1.5 kg extra”, rather than the condition which stated, “the winner of any race of the advertised value of $100,000 or over carry 3.0 kg extra”.
It was noted that the Magic Millions Classic was advertised as having a value of $100,000.
In accordance with Rule AR.111A(4), as TRSA Stewards were satisfied the weight initially allotted to More Awesome did not respond to the conditions advertised, the Handicapper was permitted to make the correction.
