Jockey Egan To Front Inquiry

Billy EganThoroughbred Racing SA Stewards have been advised that analysis of a urine sample provided by Apprentice Jockey, William Egan, at Allan Scott Park Morphettville on Saturday, 16 July 2011 has detected the substance Phentermine.

On Friday, 29 July 2011, under Rule ARR.81A(3), W. Egan was stood down from riding in races, official trials and trackwork pending the provision of a sample which is clear of any banned substance as provided for in Rule ARR.81A(4).

W. Egan has been advised that an inquiry into the circumstances into the Analyst’s finding will be conducted on a date to be determined.
