Saturday's Morphettville Parks Races Report

The Tony McEvoy prepared Matthew Neilson ridden Uchimura, the $2.10 favourite, completed a duo of wins in the opening event of 1950 metres on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.

A five year old Golden Snake gelding from the Salmon Lake mare Dine With Me, Uchimura led all the way and defeated the Len Smith prepared Simon Price guided Instructor $17.

A Dash for Cash filly from the Royal Academy mare Royal Tango, Dashitude was well placed soon after the start and quickly went to the lead going on to defeat the David Hayes mentored Paul Gatt piloted Cool Choice $3.20.

Whitten's Delight was a farther one and three quarter lengths away third for the combination of Tony McEvoy and Matthew Neilson.

Mornington based trainer Max Hinton was well pleased with the win of Emma Princess $5 in the 1000 metre third event.

Having the services of Troy Baker the Invincible Spirit six year old mare, from the Pompeii Court matron Sophie Princess, Emma Princess was always handy to the lead and went on to beat the Sam Burford prepared Jackson Matthews ridden Court Bell $11.

Mornin' Sam, the $2.05 public elect, brought up a hat trick of wins when he was the three quarters of a length winner of race four which was contested over 1250 metres.

Being under the care of Gawler mentor Gary Searle and ridden by Adrian Patterson the Musee D'orsay sired Mornin' Sam, from the Kingston Mill matron Without a Mill, led all the way and defeated the Peter Moody trained Libby Hopwood ridden Justify That $5.

Ocsmepop $8.50 was another three quarters of a length away third for Lloyd Kennewell and Shayne Cahill.

Showing plenty of promise the Lion Hunter gelding Generous Beau gave trainer David Balfour and his apprentice Scott Westover a short neck win in the 1550 metre fifth race.

From the Generous mare Kayzarana, Generous Beau $9 was well placed and defeated the David Jolly prepared Paul Gatt ridden Conduction, the $1.70 favourite.

Sea Coral $4.40 was a farther four and a quarter lengths away third for Tony McEvoy and Matthew Neilson.

Last start winner Meadows Dan won its second race in seven days in the 1400 metre sixth race.

Trained by Roy Rogers and having the services of Michael Hoppo, the Akhadan sired Meadows Dan $5, from the Keepers mare Keepara Princess, came from well back to record a half length win over Horatius, the $1.70 favourite, for Tony McEvoy and rider Matthew Neilson.

Ring Me Not $17 was a farther one and three quarter lengths away third for Stuart Padman and Amy Herrmann.

Keep the Faith brought up a siring quinella when the Bill Bogarts trained Paul Gatt ridden Fear the Faith $4 scored a two and a half length win over the David Balfour prepared Zaeimus $6 in the 1250 metre seventh event.

From the Royal Academy mare Royal Jama, Fear the Faith led all the way and beat the Todd Pannell mount Zaeimus.

The Roy Rogers prepared Exalted Moment $12 with Shayne Cahill in the saddle was a farther one and a half lengths away third.

Picking up the ride on the Mark Kavanagh winner Ziggy's Crown jockey Matthew Neilson brought up a book end double when the Beautiful Crown sired four year old was the one and a half length winner of the final event of 1000 metres.
