Railway Stakes - Final Field & Barriers
- Tuesday, 17 November 2009 00:59
All American (pictured) won the Group 1 Emirates Stakes (1600m) at Flemington on November 7.
The barrier draw was conducted after Breakfast With The Stars at Ascot this morning where many of the leading chances, including All American and Ortensia, were put through their paces.
Other fancied runners from the eastern states Gold Salute (7) and Largo Lad (10) faired well from the barrier draw while the same cannot be said for last years Railway Stakes runner-up Sniper's Bullet, who will jump from barrier 14 while Ortensia will start from gate 13.
