RACE 1: GRANGE MARGARET RIVER HOTEL TROPHY RACE – 1200M

HAKIM LAD (P. Humann) threw its head in the air at the start and was subsequently slow to begin. Making the turn into the straight SOBALADY (A. Bynder) commenced to lay outwards across the heels of RED SPRITE (B. Pope).

RACE 2: HEALTHWAY/CHAFF CITY MAIDEN - 900M

LAVROS KNIGHT (K. Ellis) jumped awkwardly and lost ground. FAMVIA (M. Pateman) had a tendency to lay inwards in the straight.

RACE 3: MAGIC MILLIONS MAIDEN – 900M

Routine Specimens were taken from the winner JACKSON FLYER (E. Wake). ROYAL REGRET (S. Imberti) commenced to buck shortly after the start placing the rider at a disadvantage for a short distance. Trainer Mr J. Dickson advised that ROYAL REGRET would now be retired. PRECIOUSLY (R. Gittos) bounded on jumping. NAMANDE (M. Ives) shifted inwards sharply near the 850m. Approaching the 150m PRECIOUSLY shifted inwards and tightened NAMANDE.

RACE 4: MIRVAC FINI MAIDEN – 1300M

Routine Specimens were taken from the winner ISLAND ATTACK (S. Hudson). DRAGON (M. Ives) and RUM TART (E. Wake) bumped on jumping. Approahcing the 1150m DRAGON began to race keenly and had to be steadied off the heels of MABELIA (L. Bell).

RACE 5: GLENWAY REALTY TROPHY RACE – 1200M

LORD GEMINI (Mark Ryan) threw its head in the air at the start and lost ground. SOVEREIGN WHISPER (L. Bell) raced ungenerously in the early stages and near the 950m was steadied from the heels of SYMBOL SAM (Michael Miller).

RACE 6: TRUSTEK STEEL ROOFING SYSTEMS LARK HILL CUP – 1600M

Routine Specimens were taken from the winner GOLDEN MILL (M. Pateman). DUKESVILLE (R. Gittos) was slow into stride.

RACE 7: MILLFIELDS PARK STUD TROPHY RACE – 1200M

ROYAL RINGO (W. Dicks) was slow into stride. SHEP (J. Pateman) made the turn into the straight wide. MADONNA’S SMILE (E. Wake) had a tendency to lay inwards in the straight.
